Adelaide Crows vs Fremantle Dockers Predictions

The Crows have caught the eye in the opening weeks and they get a great opportunity to go 4-1 with the Dockers not the best interstate travellers, particularly to the Adelaide Oval.

Taylor Walker has been in hot goalscoring form and is tipped for more goals as  Adelaide win.

  • Adelaide Crows have won 3 of their last 4 matches.
  • Adelaide Crows have won 3 of their last 4 home matches.
  • Adelaide Crows' Taylor Walker has scored 20 goals in 4 matches this season.
  • Adelaide Crows have won their last 3 home matches against Fremantle Dockers at the Adelaide Oval.
  • Fremantle Dockers have lost their last 2 away matches.
  • Fremantle Dockers have lost their last 7 matches at the Adelaide Oval.

Fremantle Dockers were 54-34 winners when these two sides clashed on neutral ground at Metricon Stadium last season.

The Crows have won four of the last six matches overall, including the last three times they have hosted the Dockers at Adelaide Oval.

Adelaide Crows Form

Adelaide Crows made it three wins from four games last week with a 41-point victory over North Melbourne.

Taylor Walker was again key to the Crows' success as three more goals in the 109-68 win took his tally to 20 for the season.

Last season's wooden spoonists have firmly left that form behind, ever since causing a huge 103-91 upset win over Geelong Cats in Round 1.

The Crows were beaten 121-88 by the Sydney Swans in Round 2, but have won the last two with a 95-85 win over Gold Coast Suns and then last week's success over the Roos.

Adelaide Crows Team News

Rory Sloane is still available as he recovers from an eye injury, so the Crows are unchanged.

Daniel Talia and Riley Thilthorpe have not been considered by the Crows as they recover from absences.

Fremantle Dockers Form

Fremantle Dockers sit with a 2-2 ledger for the season after two home wins and two away defeats.

The Dockers traded a loss to Melbourne Demons and a win over GWS Giants in the opening two weeks of the season.

They were then put in their place in a 109-64 loss to Carlton at the MCG, although they were without talisman Nat Fyfe.

With Fyfe back and on home ground in Perth, the Dockers defeated Hawthorn 96-81 at Optus Stadium last weekend.

Fremantle Dockers Team News

Nat Fyfe was a welcome return last week after concussion and he finished with six behinds from 31 disposals.

Lachie Schultz missed last week's win with concussion, but has been passed fit to return for the Dockers.

Ethan Hughes was a doubt, but he has been named in the Dockers' backline.

Hayden Young (hamstring) and Sam Switkowski (broken finger) are both still missing.
