Off a low scoring draw against Richmond Tigers, Collingwood remain at the MCG where they host St Kilda in AFL Round 3 on Saturday.
St Kilda arrive off a comfortable Round 2 victory last Sunday against a lacklustre Western Bulldogs, with their run and carry from defence a particular highlight in that 39-point win.
Collingwood Form & Team News
Following a comprehensive opening round triumph, Collingwood looked well on the way to making it back-to-back wins against Richmond last week with a 14 point lead at the half time interval, however, they failed to score a major in the second half of that contest and were a little fortunate to hang on for a draw.
The creative Jaidyn Stephenson will be a very welcoming addition this week to a forward line that was light on for firepower against the Tigers in Round 2 whilst big-bodied utility Rupert Wills also comes in.

St Kilda Form & Team News
With a host of recruits over the last few seasons, St Kilda are a much improved outfit in 2020 and would be undefeated if they didn't throw away their opening round fixture versus North Melbourne after they were in control for much of that game.
The only change to a St Kilda team that flogged the Western Bulldogs last week is defender Jonathon Marsh coming in for the injured Jarryn Geary.

Collingwood vs St Kilda Head To Head
Collingwood have a clear edge over St Kilda in the head to head battles since 1980 with a 42-21 lead overall in contests since then.
Recent history is in the Magpies favour too with a 41 point victory over the Saints here at the MCG last time these two sides met in 2019 and that made it a 8-2 scoreline in Collingwood's favour for their last 10 fixtures against St Kilda.

Collingwood vs St Kilda Match Up
Given how poor the Western Bulldogs have been to start their 2020 season, it's quite hard to seperate these two teams off that form as both have already defeated the Dogs comfortably.
There's more class through the middle of the ground for Collingwood with Pendlebury, Sidebottom and Grundy forming a dangerous trio in the midfield versus a St Kilda line-up that doesn't quite have that same presence in the centre.
Where the Saints will look to win the game is throught the half back run of Bradley Hill who can team up with the gut-running Dan Hannebery a little further up the field and a versatile forward line with quick entry last week, did look dangerous.
The ruck battle between Saints duo Rowan Marshall and Paddy Ryder versus star big man Brodie Grundy will be great watch with perhaps Grundy fancying his chances around the ground, however, both Marshall and Ryder can plug holes at either end when not in the middle so Grundy will have to be accountable.

Admittedly St Kilda are a competitive enough outfit in 2020, but beating Collingwood at the MCG is a tough ask and we're expecting a Magpies response after last week so we're backing them to cover the -15.5 line.
There's no logical Saints defender to quell Jaidyn Stephenson's influence up front and if he's ready, is more than capable of kicking multiple goals on Saturday.
