Sydney Swans Form

The Swans finally got the proverbial monkey off their back last weekend with a massive come from behind victory against the Pies.

Having only won 1 of their last 6 games there was a very real danger of the Swans falling completely out of the 8 if they could not secure at least 1 win.

They did it in style crushing the defending premiers hopes of sneaking into the 8. Isaac Heeney had an immense 4th quarter, putting his team on his back and carrying them to victory.

Tom Papley is not expected to return before finals whilst Lewis Melican continues to be monitored following his return to play.

Lewis Melican has been pushing to return for a number of weeks but hasn’t passed his fitness tests. Both him and Patrick Snell will be given all the time they can to get fit to play.

Justin McInerney is still a few weeks away following a PCL injury.
