Fremantle can take their win-loss record into the positive territory with a win over Port Adelaide in Round 11.

The Dockers levelled up at 5-5 after their upset 34-point win over the GWS Giants in Round 10 and head into this match as favourites against Port Adelaide.

The Power were on the receiving end of another drubbing last weekend, going down 39-115 to Geelong. They are now at 4-6 and are at risk of losing touch with the top eight.

Jason Horne-Francis pulled up with an injury out of that match and is a key loss. Andrew Brayshaw and Caleb Serong can capitalise in the middle, providing opportunities for the likes of Josh Treacy in the forward line.

  • Port Adelaide are averaging just 55 points per game in the past three rounds.
  • Andrew Brayshaw has averaged 28 disposals in his past three matches against Port Adelaide.
  • Zak Butters has averaged 28 disposals in his past three matches against the Dockers
  • Josh Treacy has booted 23 goals from 10 matches in 2025

Head to Head

Port Adelaide have won six of the past seven matches against Fremantle, including the Round 24 Optus Stadium encounter in 2024 by 20 points. The Power have won the past two between the two sides at the venue.

Port’s Zak Butters has averaged 28 disposals in his past three matches against the Dockers, while Ollie Wines has averaged 27. Fremantle’s Andrew Brayshaw has averaged 28. Willie Rioli has kicked five goals from his past three matches against the Dockers.

Fremantle Dockers Form Analysis

Fremantle have struggled for consistency in 2025 but have been stung into action after an embarrassing 61-point defeat at the hands of St Kilda back in Round 8. They led Collingwood in most statistical measures the following week, except where it mattered, on the scoreboard, going down by 14 to the Magpies. But they put it all together with last week’s win over GWS.

That win was built on some clearance and inside 50 domination. Caleb Serong picked up 36 disposals, while Andrew Brayshaw had 30. Those two are averaging 28 disposals this season.

Shai Bolton had his best game for his new side with three goals from 24 disposals. Bolton has 12 goals from nine matches in 2025, while Josh Treacy has booted 23 from 10.

Fremantle Dockers Team News

No injuries for Fremantle out of the GWS game. Sean Darcy missed with a knee injury, allowing Luke Jackson to have some dominance in the ruck. Interesting to see if the Dockers remain with one true ruckman.

Port Adelaide Power Form Analysis

Port Adelaide’s 72-point loss was their sixth for the season and third by a big margin with 90 and 91 point defeats coming against the Western Bulldogs and Collingwood earlier in the year. The Power have won just one of four games outside of Adelaide in 2025.

Zak Butters was held to just 20 disposals last weekend, which is down on his average of 28 for the season. Connor Rozee had 32 disposals. The Power could only manage five goals against Geelong and are averaging just 55 points per game in the past three rounds.

Sam Powell Pepper kicked two of the five goals last weekend and has 14 for the season from 10 matches. Mitch Georgiades has booted 21 from 10.

Port Adelaide Power Team News

It was hamstring central at the Adelaide Oval with four players going down, including two from Port Adelaide- key playmaker Jason Horne-Francis, as well as Lachie Jones. Josh Sinn is another casualty to come out of that match with a hip issue. The veteran, Travis Boak, is a strong chance to come in, while Jack Lukosius is edging closer to a return.
