The Western Bulldogs can continue their momentum with a win on the road over Geelong at GMHBA Stadium to kick off Round 11.

The Bulldogs blew Essendon out of the ball-park in Round 10 with a 91-point win, a margin that could have been more were it not for some inaccuracy with the 18.19.127 scoreline.

They advance to 6-4, the same win-loss record as Geelong, who were also big winners in Round 10. The Cats ventured to Adelaide and defeated Port Adelaide in Round 10 by 76.

They enjoy the home-ground advantage for this clash but it is the Bulldogs that have won their past two at the venue. With their group of midfielders in some red-hot form, the Dogs can get on top in the middle and have plenty of options inside 50 to kick a winning score.

Take the Bulldogs in the head-to-head betting with Marcus Bontempelli to find plenty of the footy. Rhylee West looks a solid play for 2+ goals.

  • Both sides have a win-loss record of 6-4 in 2025.
  • The Western Bulldogs have won their past two at GMHBA Stadium
  • Marcus Bontempelli has averaged 29 disposals in his past four matches against Geelong
  • Rhylee West has kicked 14 goals in his past five matches

Head to Head

The Bulldogs have won two of the past three against Geelong with those wins both coming at GMHBA Stadium. The loss was in Adelaide during Gather Round last season. The most recent match was in Round 19 last season- a 47 point win for the Dogs.

Adam Treloar has averaged 33 disposals in his past four matches against the Cats but will be out of action, while Tom Liberatore (30) and Marcus Bontempelli (29) have found plenty of it as well.

Geelong Cats Form Analysis

Geelong have strung together multiple wins just once this season, a three game streak from Round 5 through to 7. Since then they have gone L-W-L-W. Eight of their 10 matches have resulted in margins of 39 points or less. Five have been by 10 points or less.

The Cats rank just 16th for disposals this season but are efficient with their use, preferring kick over handball, which has led to them ranking 4th for points scored in 2025.

Bailey Smith picked up another 30 disposals last weekend and has hit that mark in his past three matches. He has had 25+ in all of his matches this season. Jeremy Cameron comes off a seven-goal haul and has booted 27 from 10 matches in 2025.

Geelong Cats Team News

There was a bit of carnage at the Adelaide Oval for Geelong against the Power with Patrick Dangerfield and Jack Bowes both suffering hamstring injuries. George Stevens, Ted Clohesy and Jhye Clark have some solid VFL form and will be considered. Tom Stewart and Cam Guthrie are just about ready to return from injury.

Western Bulldogs Form Analysis

The Bulldogs have won four of their past five matches. Three of those wins were by big margins, a 71-point victory over St Kilda and a 90-point win over Port Adelaide to complement the hiding they gave Essendon last weekend. There four losses have bee by 21 points or less.

Luke Beveridge’s side top the competition for disposals. Bailey Dale ran rampant last weekend with a club record 49 disposals, just five shy of the all-time record. Tom Liberatore and Matt Kennedy both had 30+. Liberatore and Dale both average 29 disposals this season.

The Bulldogs also lead the competition for scoring and are 2nd for clearances and inside 50s. They have averaged 115 points per game in the past six weeks. Rhylee West booted four goals against Essendon and has kicked 14 from his past five matches.

Western Bulldogs Team News

Artie Jones is set to miss with injury. Cody Weightman has been ruled out for the season, joining Sam Darcy on the long term injury list. Adam Treloar and Liam Jones are edging closer to a return. Oskar Baker put his hand up for a recall with a strong performance in the VFL, while Nick Coffield and Harvey Gallagher are in the mix to be selected.
