Daniel LIoyd will need to pass a concussion test to play this week, and Jye Caldwell looks the most likely to come in if he does miss.

Brisbane were disappointing last week after giving up a five-goal lead to the Cats, but their form before that was excellent, winning four games in a row.

The Lions shouldn’t have any forced omissions this week, but the likes of Grant Birchall and Stefan Martin might be testing Chris Fagan’s patience.

GWS Giants vs Brisbane Lions Match Up

The league's best medium forward in Charlie Cameron up against gun defender Nick Haynes is one of the most fascinating match ups of round seven.

Cameron is fourth in the Coleman Medal, but his impact been negated somewhat in recent weeks, so look for him to come out firing on Saturday.

Haynes has stamped himself as the league's best medium sized defender, and will have Cameron covered in the air. Once the ball hits the ground however, the Lion live-wire will be hard to stop with his blistering leg speed.

This contest will go a long way to deciding the outcome of the match.
