The Fremantle Dockers arrive for this one on the back of three wins in a row after downing the Geelong Cats in a 106-77 triumph, but they face an uphill task against the Demons.

The Demons won the last clash between the sides in an 85-39 win in 2022. In their last 10, the Demons have five wins, while the Dockers also have five victories.

The Melbourne Demons were left with some real questions in their last game as they were edged 80-76 by the Port Adelaide Power to see them fall a win behind their conquerors on the ladder.

This defeat saw a run of four wins brought to an end in frustrating style with the Dees having beaten the Richmond Tigers, North Melbourne Kangaroos, Gold Coast Suns and Hawthorn Hawks.

However, the Demons have been very good at ensuring losing does not snowball, with their two previous defeats always followed by a win.

An impressive 106-77 triumph against the Geelong Cats was a powerful result last week, and it means the Dockers boast a three-game winning run heading into this one.

What will worry Fremantle is the fact that they have lost three of their four away games this term, conceding 110+ in two of those three defeats.
