North Melbourne vs Melbourne Demons Predictions

In a clash between the unbeaten and the winless, the Demons are the shortest priced favourites of the season so far.

This should be one-sided and decided by a huge margin. North Melbourne just can't keep teams out, and the impressive Dees are tipped to cover a huge handicap.

  • North Melbourne have lost their last 14 matches.
  • North Melbourne have lost 5 of their 6 matches this season by more than 40 points this season.
  • Melbourne Demons have won 2 of their last 3 matches against North Melbourne.
  • Melbourne Demons won by 57 points when the sides met last season.
  • Melbourne Demons are 6-0 for the season.
  • Melbourne Demons have won their last 8 matches.

Head-to-Head

North Melbourne won 10 in a row against Melbourne Demons between 2010 and 2017. But the Dees have won two of the last three clashes.

That includes last season when the Kangaroos were beaten by 57 points as the Dees won 92-35.

North Melbourne Form

North Melbourne made it six straight losses this season and 14 in total when going down to Fremantle Dockers in Perth last weekend.

A 99-48 defeat at Optus Stadium was the fifth time in six matches this campaign that the Kangaroos have been beaten by 40-plus points.

Struggling North have also suffered heavy defeats at the hands of Port Adelaide, Gold Coast Suns, Western Bulldogs and Adelaide Crows. The other defeat was to Geelong Cats by 30 points.
