North Melbourne vs Richmond Tigers Prediction
A wooden spoon and it is Richmond who I'm predicting will end up with it. The Tigers are boosted by returning players, but North Melbourne have too much attacking threat.

- North Melbourne are 1st in the league in Kicking Efficiency and Accuracy in front of goal.
- The Kangaroos lead the AFL in Rebound 50’s with 42.3 per game.
- Richmond allow their opponents the highest Rebound 50 Rate in the AFL and are themselves 4th last in the league in Disposal Efficiency.
- Both Kangaroos wins this season have been by 1-39 Margins.
Head to Head
These two teams have met on five occasions since the beginning of the 2019 season with Richmond holding a slight 3-2 advantage in the head to head.
North Melbourne Form
The Kangaroos had a stretch of games where they were very competitive for the entire 4 quarters but are now on a skid of 3 losing games with 2 of those being by substantial margins.
Their 40 point loss to the Cats last weekend was an improvement on the 75 point loss in Round 5 but it was again the polish that was missing with a lot of opportunities going begging due to wayward passing trying to penetrate the Cats.
Harry Sheezel continues to impress notching up 36 Disposals, 1 Goal and a Goal Assist in this one.
North Melbourne Team News
Tyler Sellers is once again available after clearing concussion protocols. Aidan Corr, Zac Fisher and Colby McKercher will all need to get through training this week to be up for selection.

Richmond Tigers Form
Unsurprisingly the Tigers lost again last weekend to arch-rivals Collingwood. They never led in a one-sided contest but there were some bright spots, especially Tom Brown not only kicking his first AFL goal but also his second and third.
Richmond have a lot of soul-searching to do over the summer and there is no doubt injuries have played a major role in their demise this year but with that said their defensive issues need to be looked at with the team allowing the 2nd most points to their opposition across the season.
Richmond Tigers Team News
Kane McAuliffe has missed the past few matches with an illness and will be available for selection this weekend.
A host of other players will need to be put through fitness tests to be cleared to play. This includes Dusty Martin, Tim Taranto, Nick Vlastuin, Mo Riolo and Marlion Pickett.
Toby Nankervis will miss this one with concussion with Jack Graham and Oliver Hayes-Brown another week away.

The Kangaroos are backed to avoid the spoon by taking this one out in a close contest.
