Head to Head

Richmond have had the measure of the Saints in recent times, winning five of the last six meetings between the sides.

Last season, St Kilda won 93-67 in Round 4. But the Tigers got their revenge with a 80-49 victory in the semi-final before going on to win the premiership.

St Kilda Form

Saints breathed life into their season when ending a two-game losing streak last week with a 102-82 upset of West Coast Eagles.

St Kilda trailed by 28 points at half-time, but produced a rousing second half display including a five-goal final quarter.

It was a second win of the season to go with the 86-76 victory in Round 1.

But Saints had been below-par in losing two in a row in Rounds 2 and 3. A 91-73 loss to Melbourne Demons was followed by a 143-68 thumping at the hands of the Essendon Bombers.

Richmond Tigers Form

Richmond Tigers have lost their last two in a row and the reigning premiers stand at a crucial point in the season.

Having beaten Carlton and Hawthorn by 20-plus points in the opening two rounds, the Tigers have come up short in the last two weeks.

They were rolled by the Sydney Swans in Round 3 when suffering a 117-72 defeat at the MCG.

Richmond then lost a thriller last week as Port Adelaide prevailed by two points in a 79-77 victory at the Adelaide Oval.

Richmond welcome back Kamdyn McIntosh after he was passed fit to return from his concussion absence.

Daniel Rioli also comes back into the side after being dropped last week, but Josh Caddy, Will Martyn and Jack Ross are left out. The latter is amongst the emergencies.
