Collingwood arrive for this one sitting at the summit after a supreme campaign that has seen them win 10 of their 11 games. The Pies should be much too good.

The Eagles stunned the Magpies 87-74 when the latter hosted back in 2022. While the two sides are enjoying vastly differing seasons, recent meetings between the sides have seen the struggling Eagles dominating.

In their last 10, the Magpies have won three times, while the Eagles have won seven matches.

West Coast Form

The West Coast Eagles have struggled massively this term, and their poor run does not seem to be showing any signs of ending.

Their 96-46 defeat at the hands of the Essendon Bombers last week made it nine losses in a row. With just four points picked up, the Eagles are already fighting a losing battle to avoid the wooden spoon.

Collingwood Form

Collingwood have been exceptional so far, with 10 wins in 11 matches seeing them open up a four-point lead at the top of the ladder.

A 105-70 win over the North Melbourne Kangaroos in their last game made it seven wins in a row for the Pies, and they are looking particularly strong at home this term.

The Magpies have not been as prolific scoring-wise on the road, failing to notch over 100 points in three of their four matches away from home. However, against a West Coast side that has conceded 100+ points in eight of their last nine matches, the Magpies will smell a big-win here.
