The Giants have had the better of the contest in recent years, leading the head to head 2-0. They easily won 138-86 in 2022, while they also won 93-77 in 2021. It is worth noting that both of these wins came at home for the Giants.

West Coast Eagles Form

West Coast Eagles may have fallen to a defeat in their opening match of the campaign, but they have plenty of positives.

They mounted a stirring comeback after trailing early on against North Melbourne to edge to within a goal of their opponents.

Looking to bounce back after a disappointing 2022, the Eagles will want their senior players to step up after struggling to get off the mark in game one.

As good as they were in game one, injuries are already starting to stack up for the Giants. With this in mind, a trip to face the Eagles is hardly what the side will want.

Without a win in Perth over the Eagles since 2017, this one could be a very tough trip for the Giants.
