The Phillies lost five straight earlier this month, before finally stopping the rot with a 4-3 victory over the Chicago Cubs.

They failed to follow that up as they lost the second meeting 4-3, but they did take the series finale, 7-2, and that sparked a five-game win streak.

Philadelphia swept Toronto at home with 8-0, 3-2 and 11-4 victories, before heading to Miami to beat the Marlins 8-3.

The Phillies dropped the second game of the series, 8-3, only to rebound with 4-2 and 2-1 wins over the Marlins.
