Aris are having a disastrous start to the new basketball season, losing all three competitive matches so far in just seven days.
They opened the new Eurocup campaign with a convincing 95-75 defeat against Venezia in Italy, hitting just 12 out of 23 free throws. Landers Nolley II was their top scorer with 14 points.
A couple of days later, Aris lost again to Panathinaikos 81-68 in the Greek Super Cup semifinals, and then suffered another defeat in 3rd place decider against Peristeri 73-69.

Turk Telekom had a successful start to the new Eurocup campaign, earning a 72-66 home victory against Lietkabelis last week.
Yoah Makaundou was the top scorer with 12 points, but Kyle Alexander claimed the man of the match award after registering 11 points (3/3 FG), nine rebounds and two assists.
During the pre-season, Turk Telekom played just two friendly matches and lost both. First to Besiktas 89-78, followed with a loss against Darussafaka 71-70.
Verdict
Turk Telekom struggled in pre-season friendlies and lost two duels to this opponent in last year’s Eurocup. Backing Aris to win is a value bet in my opinion.
