Monaco had a strong Euroleague campaign, reaching the grand final before losing to Fenerbahce in late May. However, they’re now on the brink of losing their domestic crown, trailing 2-0 in the series against Paris.
They opened the finals with a 94-82 loss in Game 1 and were thoroughly outclassed in Game 2, falling 92-67. The absence of suspended star Mike James has severely impacted their offensive flow and overall rhythm.
To reach the finals, Monaco eliminated Le Havre 2-1 in the quarterfinals and Lyon ASVEL 3-1 in the semis.

Paris are just one win away from claiming the LNB title after two dominant performances.
In Game 1, TJ Shorts delivered a masterclass with 30 points in 28 minutes, also collecting six rebounds and six assists. Nadir Hifi added 18 points, three rebounds, and three assists.
Shorts continued his red-hot form in Game 2, scoring 28 points on 10-of-13 shooting, with five assists and three rebounds. Yakuba Ouattara also chipped in with 11 points.
Verdict
Paris completely outplayed Monaco in Game 2 and show no signs of slowing down. With Monaco still missing Mike James due to suspension, I see value in backing Paris to get the win and seal the championship tonight.
