Arkansas came into March Madness in bad form, but that did not stop them advancing to round two.

The Razorbacks lost five of their last seven games in the regular season, wrapping it up with a three-game losing skid.

They snapped that losing run in their opening game at the SEC Championship tournament, but failed to follow it up in the next round.

Arkansas bowed out of the tournament with a 67-61 defeat at the hands of #18 Texas A&M.

The Razorbacks rebounded in the first round of March Madness however, taking out Illinois 73-63 with a strong performance.

Kansas have dropped a couple of games since early February, but are now 10-2 in their last 12 games.

The Jayhawks hit a hot streak late in the regular season, winning seven consecutive games in response to a loss to #5 Texas.

That run was ended by another defeat to the Longhorns, this time a 75-59 defeat on the road.

Kansas bounced back at the Big 12 tournament with a 78-61 win against West Virginia and a 71-58 victory over Iowa State, only to again lose to Texas, 76-56.

The Jayhawks returned to winning ways at March Madness though, blowing out Howard 96-68 in the first round.
