The Tigers are an efficient group offensively and defensively they have the ability to take away Creighton’s crucial three-ball.

Auburn go into this second-round clash on the back of a victory, but having lost three of tehir last five games.

The Tigers enjoyed a 14-game win streak between the start of December and the start of February, and then responded to a streak-ending loss with a six-game surge.

That run was ended by an 83-72 loss at Texas A&M, and they then fell 93-91 to Alabama in overtime in their regular season finale.

Auburn rebounded to beat Mississippi 62-57 in their first outing in the SEC tournament, only to then lose 70-65 when they took on Tennessee.

The Tigers put that behind them in their first March Madness matchup, beating Alabama State 83-63.

Creighton Form

Creighton go into this game having bounced back from conference tournament disappointment with a first-round win in the national tournament.

The Bluejays dropped a couple of games in February and opened March with an 83-61 loss at Xavier.

They rallied over the final two games of regular season though, following up a 79-61 success at Seton Hall with an 87-74 home win over Butler.

Creighton took their streak to four games as they beat DePaul 85-81 in double overtime and Connecticut 71-62 in regulation in the Big East tournament, only to lose 82-66 to St John’s NY in the final.

The Bluejays bounced back in the first round of March Madness however, beating Louisville 89-75.

Creighton @ Auburn

One of Auburn’s biggest strengths is the ability to cancel out Creighton’s biggest offensive asset.

The Tigers do no waste many possessions either, so we expect them to overcome the Bluejays in round two.
