Gonzaga go into the Sweet 16 of March Madness riding an 11-game win streak.

The Bulldogs have not lost a game since the surprise 78-70 defeat at the hands of Saint Mary’s (CA) back on February 4.

They rebounded immediately and went on to win their final seven regular season games, including a rematch with Saint Mary’s (CA), 77-68.

Gonzaga’s streak continued in the West Coast Conference tournament as they beat San Francisco 84-73 and Saint Marys’ (CA), again, 77-51.

The Bulldogs run has not slowed at the national championship either, as they have followed up an 82-70 win against Grand Canyon with an 84-81 victory over #22 TCU.

UCLA Form

UCLA have been in fantastic form over the past several weeks, winning 14 of their last 15 games.

The Bruins suffered surprise back-to-back losses in late January, but they have lost just once since then.

They closed out the regular season with a 10-game win streak and then downed Colorado 80-69 and Oregon 75-56 in the Pac 12 tournament.

UCLA came up short in the conference tournament though, losing 61-59 to #8 Arizona in the final.

The Bruins have bounced back in March Madness, backing up an 86-53 win against UNC Asheville with a 68-63 victory over Northwestern.

This has all the makings of a classic encounter with an Elite Eight spot up for grabs.
