Kennesaw State finished the regular season with a 23-8 record and went on to win the Atlantic Sun Conference tournament.

The Owls wrapped up the regular season with back-to-back road wins, beating North Alabama 79-66 and Central Arkansas 72-56.

That set them up for the conference tournament and but they were made to fight for a first round win against Queens (NC), taking it 67-66.

Kennesaw State made much smoother progress in the semi-finals though, beating Lipscomb 80-71.

The Owls then completed a successful Atlantic Sun Conference tournament campaign with a 67-66 win against Liberty.

Xavier Form

Xavier completed the regular season with a 23-8 record, before coming up short in the Big East Conference tournament.

The Musketeers stumbled in February as they lost three times in a four-game spell, but they were able to rebound by winning each of their final three regular season games.

They beat Seton Hall 82-60 and #20 Providence 94-89 on the road, before returning home to down Butler 78-66.

Xavier then extended their win streak in the first two rounds of the conference tournament, beating DePaul 89-84 and #24 Creighton 82-60.

The Musketeers fell short in the final though, as they fell to a 65-51 defeat at the hands of #6 Marquette.
