Miami have rebounded at the national tournament though, progressing to the Sweet 16.

The Hurricanes beat Drake 63-56 in the first round, before ousting #21 Indiana, 85-69, in their last outing.

Houston come into this matchup in fantastic form thanks to 15 wins in their last 16 games.

The Cougars wrapped up the regular season in red-hot form by going on an 11-game win streak.

They kept it going in the first two rounds of the AAC tournament as they beat East Carolina 60-46 and Cincinnati 69-48.

Houston could not complete the job though, suffering a 75-65 defeat to Memphis in the final.

The Cougars have bounced back at March Madness though, following up a 63-52 win against Northern Kentucky with an 81-64 success against Auburn.
