Michigan State lost their next meeting with the Buckeyes though, falling to a 68-58 in their first outing at the Big Ten tournament.

The Spartans rebounded in the opening game of March Madness, advancing with a 72-62 win against USC.

Marquette are riding a 10-game win streak in the second round of the March Madness tournament.

The Golden Eagles have lost a game since they were beaten 87-72 at #21 Connecticut back on February 7.

They responded to that loss by closing out the regular season with a six-game win streak, taking them into the Big East tournament in great form.

Marquette stayed on a roll in that competition too, beating St John’s (NY) 72-70 in overtime, #11 Connecticut 70-68 and #15 Xavier 65-51 to win the tournament.

The Golden Eagles then made it 10-in-a-row in the first round of March Madness, beating Vermont 78-61.
