That sent the Aztecs into the national tournament full of confidence, and they got off to a winning start with a 63-57 victory against Charleston.

Furman come into this game riding a seven-game win streak after recording a huge upset win in the first round.

The Paladins have not been beaten since the 69-65 loss they suffered at The Citadel back on February 15.

They hit back immediately with back-to-back home wins, beating East Tennessee State 83-79 and Mercer 70-67, before heading out on the road to down Samford 93-79.

Furman then reeled off three consecutive wins in the Southern Conference tournament, beating Mercer 73-58, Western Carolina 83-80 (overtime) and Chattanooga 88-79.

The Paladins then continued their red-hot form in their March Madness opener, shocking #14 Virginia 68-67.

Furman deserve credit for sending Virginia packing in the first round.

However, San Diego are likely to bring them back down to Earth here, as they win and cover.
