The Wolverines are a solid team defensively with plenty of height, and they shoot the basketball better than Texas A&M, so they are worth a look with the free buckets.

Texas A&M enter this second-round matchup having rebounded from their quick elimination from the conference tournament.

The Aggies endured a four-game losing skid late in the regular season, but rebounded to win their final two games on the schedule.

They stooped the rot with an 83-72 upset of Auburn at home, before heading out on the road to beat Louisiana State 66-52.

Texas A&M failed to make it three-in-a-row as they lost 94-89 to Texas in double overtime, but they bounced back in the March Madness opener.

The Aggies took on Yale in the opening round of the national tournament, and ran out 80-71 winners.

Michigan Form

Michigan go into this game on the back of a Big Ten tournament success and riding a four-game win streak.

The Wolverines wrapped up the regular season in underwhelming form, losing three straight, but there was no such disappointment in the conference tournament.

They kicked off the campaign with an 86-68 victory over Purdue, and booked their place in the final with an 81-80 win over Maryland.

Michigan completed their Big Ten championship mission with a 59-53 victory over Wisconsin in the final.

The Wolverines then backed up that conference run in the opening game of the national tournament, beating UC San Diego last time out, 68-65.

Michigan are on a roll and can be more than a handful for Texas A&M.

We would not be surprised to see the Wolverines win outright, but given their excellent recent spread record we will take the free points.
