UNC Asheville finished the regular season with a 25-7 record and went on to win the Big South Conference tournament.

The Bulldogs have not lost since the 76-70 road defeat to South Carolina Upstate back on February 4.

They responded to that loss by winning their final six games of the regular season to go into the tournament in good form.

UNC Asheville then beat Charleston Southern 75-66 and South Carolina Upstate 66-62 to extend their win streak to eight games and book their place in the Big South final.

The Bulldogs made it nine-in-a-row and claim the conference crown with a 77-73 win against Campbell.

UCLA Form

UCLA compiled a 27-4 regular season record but fell short in the Pac-12 Conference tournament.

The Bruins dropped back-to-back games in late January, including a 58-52 loss to Arizona, but responded by winning their final 10 games of the regular season.

That run included them getting revenge for the loss to Arizona with an 82-73 home win against the Wildcats.

UCLA kept their red-hot run going in the first two round of the Pac-12 tournament, beating Stanford 95-84 and Arizona State 78-59 to reach the final.

There they met Arizona once again, but this time the Bruins came out on the losing end, suffering a 61-59 defeat.
