Boston head to the ‘Windy City’ for this NBA Cup clash riding a seven-game win streak that has taken their record to 15-3.

The Celtics have been in impressive form during the first few weeks of their NBA title defence, and have not lost since the cup loss to Atlanta on November 12.

They bounced back from that loss with a 139-114 victory in Brooklyn, and backed that up at home as they beat Toronto 126-123 in overtime and Cleveland 120-117 in regulation.

Boston then went out on the road to improve their NBA Cup record to 2-1 with a 108-96 victory over Washington.

The Celtics’ streak continued as they returned home, with a 107-105 victory against Minnesota and a 126-94 blowout of the LA Clippers making it six wins in a row.

Chicago Bulls Form

Chicago enter this NBA Cup matchup with a 2-1 record in the in-season tournament, but having now gone 3-5 over their last eight games.

The Bulls began this sequence with a cup defeat in Cleveland, which was followed by a 143-107 blowout loss at home to Houston.

They avoided a third straight loss as they ran out 122-112 winners in Detroit, only to move on to Milwaukee and lose 122-106 to the Bucks.

Chicago responded with their first NBA Cup win, beating Atlanta 136-122 at home, but they again failed to follow up a victory as they lost 142-131 to Memphis.

The Bulls bounced back with another cup win, this time winning 127-108 in Washington, only to then lose 133-119 in Orlando.
