Brooklyn head out on the road looking to end a three-game losing skid and win for only the second time in 2025.

The Nets won just three games during December, ending 2024 with back-to-back defeats as they were beaten 96-87 at home by San Antonio and 102-101 on the road in Orlando.

That became three losses in a row as they started 2025 with a 130-113 defeat in Toronto, but they were able to avoid a fourth straight loss.

Brooklyn pulled off a surprise 113-110 victory in Milwaukee a week ago, only to immediately return to losing ways.

The Nets ended last week with a 123-94 blowout loss to Philadelphia, and so far this week they have lost 113-99 to Indiana and 113-98 to Detroit.

Denver go into this game looking to win back-to-back games for the first time in 2025.

The Nuggets lost 11-100 to Phoenix on Christmas Day and then fell 149-135 to Cleveland, but they were able to end 2024 on a positive note.

They got back to winning ways with a 134-121 victory over Detroit, before heading out on the road to down Utah 132-121.

Denver made it three-in-a-row with a 139-120 win over Atlanta to start the year, but they missed out on a fourth straight win as they were beaten 113-110 by San Antonio.

The Nuggets avenged that loss with a 122-111 overtime win at the Spurs, and then rebounded from a 118-106 defeat to Boston with a 126-103 victory against the LA Clippers.
