The Cavaliers started this sequence with back-to-back defeats at home, losing 120-101 to Brooklyn and 117-111 to Phoenix.

They responded by winning two of the next three, beating New Orleans 116-95 and Indiana 108-103 either side of a 118-103 defeat in Houston, but dropped the next three.

Cleveland lost 107-104 to Miami, and then went out on the road to lose 104-91 in Minnesota and 121-84 at Miami, before returning home to stop the rot with a 115-92 win over Charlotte.

The Cavaliers lost two of the next three though, sandwiching a 117-114 win over Philadelphia with a 118-111 defeat in Charlotte and a 130-101 loss in Denver, before downing Utah 129-113 last night.

Phoenix Suns Form

Phoenix enter this game in decent form despite some recent defeats, having now won five of their last seven games.

The Suns dropped three games in a five-game spell in the first half of March, but steadied the ship by winning three straight.

They won back-to-back home games, beating Philadelphia 115-102 and Atlanta 128-115, before heading out on the road to down San Antonio, 131-106.

Phoenix lost the second half of that double-header with the Spurs, 104-102, only to rebound with a 104-97 victory in Denver.

The Suns then bounced back from a 128-103 defeat at Oklahoma City by winning 124-111 in New Orleans on Monday night.
