Dallas Mavericks at Golden State Warriors Predictions & Tips

Dallas are tipped to cover as a betting underdog in Game 1.

Golden State have a perfect home record in the playoffs so far, but they have struggled for covers.

Dallas, meanwhile, are covering consistently and covered in all but one of their regular season meetings with the Warriors.

  • Dallas Mavericks have covered in 9 of their last 12 games
  • Dallas Mavericks covered in 3 times vs Golden State in the regular season
  • Dallas Mavericks have covered in 11 of their last 16 games as +5.5 or greater betting underdog
  • Golden State Warriors have covered in just 2 of their last 8 games
  • The Under has cashed in 4 of Dallas’ last 5 games
  • The Under has hit in 3 of Golden State’s last 4 home games

Head To Head

  • Dallas Mavericks lead the all-time series 91-84
  • Dallas Mavericks won 122-113 when the teams last met on March 3
  • Dallas Mavericks won the regular season series 3-1

Dallas Mavericks Form

Dallas needed the full seven games to book their place in the Western Conference Finals.

Having downed Utah 4-2 in the first round, the Mavericks found themselves in a hole after the first two games of the conference semi-final against Phoenix.

They were beaten 121-114 and 129-109 in their opening two games of the series in Phoenix.

Dallas bounced back impressively though, winning four of their next five games to advance.

They put together back-to-back home wins with 103-94 and 111-101 success, but fell behind again in the series with a 110-80 blowout loss on the road.

Again the Mavericks rebounded at home, running over Phoenix 113-86, and they then topped that to clinch the series.

Dallas finally downed the Suns on the road when it mattered most, storming to a 123-90 victory.

Luka Doncic led the way for Dallas once again with 35 points, 10 rebounds and four assists.

Jalen Brunson had 24 points and six rebounds, while Spencer Dinwiddie stepped off the bench to pour in 30 points.

Golden State Warriors Form

Golden State have beaten Denver and Memphis on their way to the Western Conference Final.

Despite Stephen Curry starting from the bench they were able to sweep aside the Nuggets, 4-1, in round one.

And although Memphis put up more of a struggling in the conference semi-finals, the Warriors got the job done in six.

They started the series in the best possible fashion with a 117-116 in Game 1 on the road.

And although they dropped Game 2, Golden State took control of the series when they returned home to win 142-112 and 101-98.

They missed out on the chance to clinch as they were beaten 134-95 in Memphis in Game 5.

That merely delayed the inevitable though, and Golden State returned home to register a 110-96 victory in Game 6 that wrapped up the series.

Klay Thompson led the team in scoring as he put up 30 points to go along with eight rebounds.

Stephen Curry had 29 points, seven rebounds and five assists, while Andrew Wiggins had 18 points and 11 rebounds in a double double.

Draymond Green had 14 points, 15 rebounds and eight assists in his own double double, while Kevon Looney dominated the paint with 22 rebounds.
