Dallas have been struggling for form in recent weeks, losing seven of their last 11 games.

The dip started on the road as they suffered back-to-back blowout losses in Portland, 136-119 and 140-123.

The Mavericks then returned to lose 130-122 before Miami, before briefly stopping their slide with a 115-90 win against Miami.

Dallas lost three of their next four games though, a run that included a 108-100 defeat in Utah in January 28.

They were able to start last week with a couple of wins though, beating Detroit 111-105 and New Orleans 111-106 at home, but they failed to build on it as they then lost 119-113 at Golden State.

Utah go into this game in solid form having won seven of their last 11 games to climb to 27-27 for the season.

The Jazz’s run was started with home wins against Cleveland (116-114) and Orlando (112-108), before they fell to a 118-117 defeat to Philadelphia.

They bounced back immediate to beat Minnesota 126-125 and the LA Clippers 126-103, only to again fail to make it three-in-a-row as they lost 117-1076 to Brooklyn.

Utah rebounded with a 120-102 win against Charlotte, and then bounced back from a 134-124 loss to Portland with a 108-100 win against Dallas.

The Jazz followed that up with a 131-128 win against Toronto, but yet again they failed to make it three-in-a-row as they lost 115-108 to Atlanta.

DAL Mavericks @ UTA Jazz

Utah are in decent form and are one of the league’s most reliable teams.

Dallas, on the other hand, have struggled for covers and they without key players, including Doncic.
