Denver Nuggets at Chicago Bulls Predictions & Tips

Chicago are tipped to win and cover against Denver for a second time.

The Bulls are riding a three-game win streak that has seen them beat good teams and cover each time.

Denver, meanwhile, arrive in poor form so we are backing Chicago to stay on a roll here.

  • Chicago Bulls have won 4 of their last 5 games
  • Chicago Bulls have covered in all 16 games they have won this season
  • DeMar DeRozan is averaging 26.4 points per game
  • Denver Nuggets have lost 7 of their last 9 games
  • Denver Nuggets have covered in just 2 of their last 8 road games

Head To Head

  • Denver Nuggets lead the all-time series 55-41
  • Chicago Bulls won 114-108 in Denver back on November 19

Denver Nuggets Form

Denver go into this with two wins in their last three, but they have now lost seven of the last nine.

The Nuggets experienced a miserable second half of November as they lost six games on the bounce.

They stopped the rot with a 120-111 win at shorthanded Miami a week ago but then fell to a 108-103 defeat in Orlando.

Denver bounced back again on Saturday, beating the New York Knicks 113-99 at Madison Square Garden.

The Nuggets’ wins have coincided with the return of Nikola Jokic from a wrist injury.

Jokic has been a one-man band for Denver this season and leads the team in points (26.1), rebounds (13.6) and assists (6.4) per game.

Will Barton and Aaron Gordon are their next best scorers, averaging 15.9 and 13.6 points per game.

Chicago Bulls Form

Chicago return home in good form thanks to a sweep of the two New York teams on the road.

The Bulls built on the 133-119 home win over Charlotte with a 119-115 win over the Knicks in a playoff-type game.

They then staged an outstanding fourth-quarter fightback to knock off Brooklyn 111-107.

DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine once again took over a game in the final period and they are 1st and 3rd in the league points scored and fourth-quarter scoring.

DeRozan is averaging a team-leading 26.4 points per game, with LaVine hot on his heels averaging 25.6 per outing.

Nikola Vucevic has enjoyed some improved form over the past week and is now averaging 15.0 points and 10.6 rebounds per game.

Lonzo Ball is averaging 12.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game and sank a game-winning three against Nets.

The Bulls are shorthanded for this one once again though. Coby White and Javonte Green are in COVID-19 protocols while Alex Caruso has a hamstring problem.
