They failed to follow that up though, losing 105-102 at home before heading to Los Angeles for a 117-83 defeat to the Clippers.

Denver knotted up the series before returning home though, winning 101-99, and they backed up that victory with a 131-115 success that has them one win away from advancing.

The Nuggets claimed their place in the postseason by compiling a 50-32 regular season record to finish fourth in the Western Conference.

Los Angeles find themselves in a ‘must-win’ situation as they return home for the sixth game in this series.
