They then responded to a 102-99 regular season loss to the LA Clippers with a 120-97 blowout of Atlanta, before downing New Orleans 112-108 in the cup on the road.

Golden State have not won since though, starting this four-game skid with a 104-94 defeat when they visited San Antonio.

The Warriors then returned home to lose 128-120 to Brooklyn and 105-101 to Oklahoma City, before heading back out on the road to lose 113-105 in Phoenix.

Denver go into this NBA Cup game in need of a win and in poor form with five defeats in their last eight games.

The Nuggets saw a five-game streak end as they lost 101-94 in New Orleans in their NBA Cup opener.

They then fell 105-90 in Memphis, before splitting their next two NBA Cup games, beating the Grizzlies 122-100 and losing to Dallas 123-120.

Denver rebounded to win 127-102 at the Los Angeles Lakers, only to return home for a 145-118 defeat at the hands of New York.

The Nuggets inconsistent run then continued as they won 122-103 in Utah, but lost 126-122 at the LA Clippers.
