Houston are tipped to avenge last month's defeat to Golden State.

The Rockets are the healthier team in better form heading into this, and they can take advantage of Stephen Curry's absence.

Houston enter this game on the back of a loss but in good form, having won 10 of their last 13 games to improve to 15-7.

The Rockets reeled off a five-game win streak in November that was eventually ended by a 101-100 defeat in Milwaukee.

They rebounded immediately to beat Indiana 130-113, before splitting back-to-back home games against Portland, winning 116-88 and losing 104-98.

Houston rebounded from that loss with a couple of overtime victories, winning 117-111 in Minnesota and 122-115 at Philadelphia, before returning home to down Oklahoma City, 119-116 in regulation.

The Rockets failed to make it four-in-a-row though, as they started this road trip with a 120-111 defeat in Sacramento.

Golden State Warriors Form

Golden State return home in desperate need of a victory, having lost five straight to fall to 12-8.

The Warriors started strongly with 12 wins in their first 15 games – a run that included a five-game win streak between late October and early November.

However, they have not managed a victory since their 112-108 success at New Orleans back on November 22.

Golden State’s skid started with a 104-94 defeat in San Antonio, and that loss was followed by home defeats to Brooklyn, 128-120, and Oklahoma City, 105-101.

The Warriors then went back out on the road to lose 113-105 in Phoenix and 119-115 at Denver.

Houston lost to Golden State last month, but we are not expecting a repeat of that here.

The Rockets arrive in good form and are facing a Warriors team without Curry, so like the visitors as a betting favourite.
