Houston head out on the road having bounced back from a series-opening defeat with a victory in Game 2.

The Rockets opened up this series at home but failed to take full advantage as they split their first two games with the Rockets.

They lost the opening matchup 95-85, only to rebound in Game 2 with a 109-94 victory.

Houston secured their place in the playoffs by compiling a 52-30 record to finish second in the Western Conference standings.

In doing so, the Rockets ended a five-year absence from the NBA’s postseason.

Golden State return home in a strong position in the series, having won one of their two games in Houston.

The Warriors made an ideal start to the postseason as they downed the Rockets 95-85 in the series opener.

However, they lost Jimmy Butler to injury in Game 2 and missed out on the chance to double their series lead as they lost 109-94.

Golden State earned their place in the playoffs by going 48-34 in the regular season and successfully navigating the Play-In Tournament.

The Warriors took their second chance to make the postseason by beating Memphis 121-116.
