Los Angeles Clippers Form & Team News

Los Angeles Clippers have already racked up 14 games in the playoffs and there is a danger that they could soon run out of steam.

The Clippers fought back from 2-0 down to win 4 of the next 5 games and see off Dallas in the first round.

And while they did not go 7 games with Utah, they once again found themselves having to overcome an 0-2 deficit in the series.

They managed that though, winning four straight games on the back of some outstanding form from Paul George and Kawhi Leonard.

Leonard racked up 65 points and 19 rebounds across Games 3 & 4 before going down with injury, while George averaged 31.8 points per game between Games 2 and 4 to be the driving force.

George shone again in a 34-point showing in Game 1 against Phoenix in the Western Conference Final, but Leonard missed the game and the Clippers fell to a 120-114 defeat.

Leonard (knee) may still be on the sidelines, alongside Serge Ibaka (back) for Game 2 on Tuesday.

Phoenix Suns Form & Team News

Phoenix sent defending champions, the Los Angeles Lakers, out in the first round and then rolled over Denver.

The Suns swept the Nuggets with Devin Booker, Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton all in excellent form.

Booker is averaging 29 points per game in the postseason so far, while Ayton has been racking up the double doubles with 7 in 11 games.

Paul pulled the strings against Denver, putting up 92 points and 41 assists, but he entered the league’s COVID-19 protocol and may not return until later in the Western Conference Final.

Paul’s absence did not prevent Phoenix from running out 120-114 winners in Game 1 though, largely thanks to Booker.

He put up his first career triple double (40 points, 13 rebounds & 11 assists) to lead Phoenix to victory.
