Los Angeles go into Game 3 of this series looking to rebound from a Game 3 defeat and level the series at 2-2 before returning home.

The Lakers began the series with back-to-back home games, but failed to take full advantage of that as they split those meetings with Minnesota.

They opened their postseason campaign with a 117-95 defeat, only to rebound in the second meeting with a 94-85 victory.

Los Angeles failed to follow that up in their first road game of the series though, as they lost 116-104 to go 2-1 down.

The Lakers earned their postseason berth by compiling a 50-32 regular-season record to finish third in the Western Conference standings.

Minnesota enter this home game knowing that another victory here will give them a shot at clinching the series in Game 5.

The Timberwolves made the perfect start to the postseason as they knocked off the Lakers in Los Angeles, 117-95.

They failed to follow that up as they lost the second meeting, 94-85, but that road win did give them a slight advantage heading into their back-to-back home games.

Minnesota then regained the series lead as they downed the Lakers 116-104 in Game 3 on Friday.

The Timberwolves earned their place in the playoffs by compiling a 49-33 regular-season record to finish sixth in the Western Conference.
