Memphis head to Dallas looking to kick-start their season after losing eight of their last 10 games and each of the last four.

This rough run began on the road as the Grizzlies were beaten 128-114 by the LA Clippers, before heading to Indiana for a 127-113 loss to the Pacers.

They then edged Orlando 105-104, only to wrap up the road trip with a 129-123 defeat when they visited Cleveland.

Memphis enjoyed a winning homecoming as they beat Phoenix in overtime, 151-148, but they again failed to follow up a win as they lost four straight at the FedEx Forum.

The Grizzlies lost 114-113 to New York, 130-128 to San Antonio, 132-130 to Atlanta and 120-103 to Oklahoma City.

Dallas also go into this game on a miserable run of form, having lost five of their last six games and each of the last three.

The Mavericks returned from the All-Star break with a 111-103 win over New Orleans that took their winning run to three games, but it has largely been all downhill ever since.

Their run was ended on the road as they were beaten 126-102 at Golden State and 107-99 by the Los Angeles Lakers.

Dallas rebounded when they returned home to beat Charlotte 103-96, but they have not won since then.

The Mavericks were beaten 132-117 by Milwaukee and 122-98 by Sacramento at home, before heading to Milwaukee for a 137-107 blowout loss to the Bucks.
