Memphis head to Los Angeles in outstanding form, having won for the 11th time in 13 games last night.

The Grizzlies began this surge in the middle of January when they kick-started a six-game win streak with a 129-115 victory in San Antonio.

That streak was finally halted by a 143-106 blowout loss in New York, but they rebounded in impressive fashion as a 120-119 win over Houston sparked a four-game run.

Memphis built on that win by sandwiching a 128-109 home win against San Antonio with road wins at Milwaukee, 132-119, and Toronto, 138-107.

The Grizzlies then fell 125-112 to Oklahoma City, only to once again respond quickly to a loss as they won 119-112 in Phoenix last night.

LA go into this game looking to build on a weekend win over Utah that brought an end to a three-game losing skid.

The Clippers ended January on a good run as they won four of their final five games that month, but they cooled off in early February.

They began the month with a 115-108 defeat in Toronto, before returning home for back-to-back defeats at the Intuit Dome.

LA were blown out by the Lakers in the ‘Battle of Los Angeles’, 122-97, and they then suffered a 119-112 defeat at the hands of Indiana.

The Clippers avoided a fourth consecutive defeat though, downing Utah 130-110 last Saturday.
