The Heat endured a red-hot run between late March and early April as they reeled off six consecutive victories.

That was ended by a 110-108 defeat when they hosted Memphis, and it proved to be the start of a downturn for them.

Miami then sandwiched a 117-105 win over Philadelphia with a 121-115 overtime defeat to Milwaukee and a 119-111 loss in Chicago.

The Heat bounced back from the defeat in the ‘Windy City’ with a 153-104 demolition of New Orleans, only to wrap up the regular season with a 119-118 loss to Washington.
