New York Knicks Form

New York head back to Boston with the chance to clinch the series upset after a big home win in Game 4.

The Knicks made a stunning start to this series as they travelled to ‘Beantown’ and knocked off the defending champions in back-to-back games.

They won 108-105 in overtime and 91-90 in regulation, only to suffer a 115-93 defeat in their opening home game of the series.

New York responded on Monday night though, winning 121-113 to move within one win of advancing.

The Knicks New York sealed their spot in the playoffs by going 51-31 in the regular season, and they beat Detroit 4-2 in the opening round of the playoffs.

Boston Celtics Form

Boston return home in a ‘must-win’ situation, having lost to New York for the third time in four games on Monday night.

The Celtics came into this series with home advantage, but threw it away as they were beaten in back-to-back games by the Knicks.

They lost 108-105 in overtime and 91-90 in regulation, only to respond with a much-needed 115-93 victory when they travelled to New York for Game 3.

Boston failed to back that up though, and lost star man Jayson Tatum to injury as they suffered a 121-113 defeat that has left them on the brink.

The Celtics booked their place in the playoffs by going 61-21 in the regular season, and in the first round they downed Orlando in five games.
