Melbourne are on their second game of the weekend following a 97-70 victory over the New Zealand Breakers on the road on Thursday. Despite sharpshooter Chris Goulding missing through injury the team managed to cover the scoring deficit putting up an above average score.

Rob Loe led all players with 25 points while Jack White scored 16 and collected 10 boards in his return from injury. The bench still contributed with 27 points despite the disruptions in the rotations due to injuries, which Melbourne will be pleased with.

The Brisbane Bullets took care of business in their first game of round 11 at home against the Adelaide 36ers on Friday.

Casey Prather starred in the 102-83 rout of the 36ers scoring 33 points to lead all scorers on the night. The Bullets led from start to finish in the match with Adelaide clawing back to bring the deficit to under 5 shortly after half time. But to no avail as the home team knuckled down to finish out the match out-rebounding their opponent 40-27.
