Perth Wildcats Form

Perth took a 112-85 win over Brisbane in their most recent matchup on Wednesday capping off an amazing run away from home taking six wins from seven games.

The Wildcats had been anything but consistent in their first six road games of the season winning just one while scoring at an average of 85.1 pts per game.

Following the FIBA break and heading into this streak they increased that scoring average to 108.5 pts per game scoring 100+ points in five of seven games.

Their defence on the road has also improved especially in the four most recent games since their loss in Illawarra allowing just 84 pts per game compared to 95pts over the first stretch of six games on the road.

Bryce Cotton was once again phenomenal scoring 36 points on 48% shooting including five of seven from distance and seven of seven from the stripe. Keanu Pinder and Elijah Pepper both scored double digits off the bench.

Adelaide 36ers Form

Adelaide completed a clean sweep of the Illawarra Hawks in their most recent matchup winning 91-88 at home against the league leaders. They sit just outside the play-in in 7th with 10 wins and 12 losses but have one game fewer played than their direct competition.

Kendric Davis and Montrezl Harrell combined for 51 points in the matchup and the team finally saw some significant contribution from a bench player with Jerell Martin scoring 16 points and taking nine rebounds in 24:30 mins played. No other 36ers bench player scored.

Adelaide still average the league’s lowest number of bench points with 18.1 per game and also are last in opposition points both on the season with 96.7 pts per game and over their last 10 games with 101.3 pts per game.

The 36ers are 2-7 on the road this season with five of their last seven games being played away from Adelaide Entertainment Centre.

Verdict

Take the Wildcats to cover as the favourite while going Over their Team Total. Bryce Cotton will eat up this defence as he has already done twice this season.
