Tasmania scored over 100 points just five times all season but showed Perth that they have no problem going into a high-scoring shootout after beating the Wildcat 102-94 in game 2 of the series after losing game 1 in a much tighter fashion.

Both teams should return to a more defensive game in Perth I believe, which will play into the hands of Tasmania in the end as they have had the best defensive record in the NBL this season.

I have been on Tassie to win since the backend of the season and I am going to ride them all the way through to their Championship series victory.

Bryce Cotton had a quiet game for his standard in the opening match of the series scoring 15 point with 9 points from the fould line. It was a different story in game 2 with Cotton finding space and range and dropping 26 points and shooting at 50 percent form the field.

Kristian Doolittle had a big game for the Wildcats as well, hitting 20 points and 9 rebounds.

The JackJumpers could have folded and thrown in the towel after a slower start to game 2, however, Milton Doyle took the game into his hands in the third quarter and dropped 15 points on his way to 24 for the match, along with six rebounds and two assists.

Tasmania powered home in the second half, outsourcing Perth by six points in the third and seven points in the fourth to send this series to the decider.

Jack McVeigh had another monster game for the JackJumpers, going 6-13 from the floor, scoring 22 points and collecting five rebounds

Jamal Crawford had an unusually off night for the JackJumpers being heavily marked and double teamed often after being the central focus of attack for Tasmania in game 1. The import hit just one from nine and finished the match with just two points.
