Minnesota Lynx Form
Minnesota Lynx are off to a flawless start in the new WNBA season, winning all nine of their games so far.
They began June with two commanding wins — 86-75 over Golden State Valkyries and 88-65 against Phoenix Mercury.
Their latest outing came on Saturday evening, where they beat Dallas Wings 81-65 on the road, conceding just 26 points in the second half. Napheesa Collier was named Player of the Match after delivering 28 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists.
Seattle Storm Form
Seattle Storm came into the season with high expectations but struggled early on, winning just five of their first nine games.
They endured a tough spell in late May and early June, losing three in a row to Minnesota Lynx (82-77), Atlanta Dream (94-87), and Las Vegas Aces (75-70). That skid ended with a home win over Dallas Wings (83-77) on 3rd June.
Seattle then made it two in a row last weekend, defeating Phoenix Mercury 89-77 on the road. Skylar Diggins delivered a standout performance, scoring 26 points with seven assists and three rebounds.
Verdict
Seattle Storm had a rough start to the 2025 campaign but looked well-organized in early June wins over Phoenix and Dallas. The Lynx are one of the strongest teams in the league, but I don’t see them beating an in-form Seattle side by more than five points.
