Minnesota Lynx are one of the most successful teams so far in the WNBA 2024 season, having won 16 of their 22 matches and occupy 1st place on the Western Conference Standings.

After suffering back to back defeats for the first time this season against New York Liberty and Connecticut in early July, they bounced back with a 74-67 home victory against Washington Mystics.

The Lynx made it two in a row two nights ago with a dominant performance and an 82-67 victory over Los Angeles Sparks in California, Bridget Carleton ending the game with 16 points, four rebounds and three assists.

Seattle Storm have been struggling with inconsistency in the last couple of weeks, having won just two of their four WNBA appearances in July so far.

The most recent one was at home two nights ago, suffering an 84-79 home loss against the reigning champions Las Vegas Aces, mainly due to high number of turnovers (13). Jewell Loyd had a great performance despite the loss, ending the match with 28 points, three rebounds and three assists.

Earlier this month, Seattle Storm faced Chicago Sky twice. They lost the first encounter 88-84 but bounced back two nights after and claimed an 84-71 victory.

The Storm currently occupies 3rd place on the Western Conference table with a solid score of 14 wins and eight defeats. They are one of the best hosts in WNBA, winning 9 out of 12 games in Washington.
