Football punter lands over £162k with huge 20-match accumulator

The Coral customer placed a 20-leg accumulator on a self-service Betstation machine in a shop in Walthamstow, East London.

The bet consisted of matches in England, Italy, Spain and Turkey, and it was Turkish side Fenerbahce who played a major role in the winning bet.

Their victory over Gaziantep kicked off the winning bet, before their 2-1 win over Umranyespor on Monday secured the £162,855.23 windfall.

“Many football fans love to place these ambitious accumulators to win life-changing amounts of money,” Coral’s Lewis Knowles told FreeTips.com.

“So to see somebody land such a huge win for a relatively small stake is something that can give us all hope when placing our weekend football bets.

“The selections showed an incredible range of knowledge of European football as not only were they across games from numerous countries, but they were also on a range of different markets.

“Some of the legs were simply selecting the winner of the match, but others were predicting how many goals there would be in the game, or whether both teams would score.”
