One football punter was celebrating more than most after Forest Green’s Josh March netted a late goal in Forest Green’s weekend win.

Marsh rescued a 2-2 draw for Rovers at Mansfield Town, and that was enough to see them lift the English League Two title on goal difference.

It also mean that one William Hill customer successfully turned a £20 bet into over £300,000.

The punter placed a six-fold accumulator in August on Kilmarnock, Cove, Kelty Hearts, Fulham, Wigan and Forest Green all to win their respective leagues.

And after March’s equaliser against Mansfield sealed the League 2 title, the punter was celebrating winning £308,880.

“Many of our customers chance their arm with big-priced accumulators on who will win a selection of football leagues from around the world, but few of them come off,” William Hill spokesperson Tony Kenny told FreeTips.com.

“However, that wasn’t the case on Saturday as a remarkable ante-post six-fold landed with one punter correctly predicting that Kilmarnock, Cove, Kelty Hearts, Fulham, Wigan and Forest Green would all emerge victorious in their respective leagues.

“The punter staked just £20 on the bet back in August and after a late Forest Green equaliser, they are waking up over £300k richer.”

Winning selections:

Scottish Championship – Kilmarnock (4/5)
Scottish League One – Cove (3/1)
Scottish League Two – Kelty Hearts (4/6)
Championship – Fulham (9/2)
League 1 – Wigan (11/1)
League 2 – Forest Green (12/1)
