Dillian Whyte odds-on to avenge Alexander Povetkin defeat
- Dillian Whyte rematches Alexander Povetkin on March 27
- Povetkin knocked out Whyte when the two men fought last summer
- Whyte 2/7 to get his revenge and 8/11 to get it by KO/TKO
Dillian Whyte is odds-on to get his revenge when he takes on Alexander Povetkin in the ‘Rumble on the Rock’ on Saturday night.
Whyte’s quest to become world heavyweight champion suffered a setback last year when he was knocked out by Povetkin.
However, 2/7 bookmaker Coral is confident that ‘The Body Snatcher’ will get his revenge in Gibraltar.
Despite his devastating KO win last time, Povetkin is the outsider at 11/4 to win.
“Whyte is out for revenge against Povetkin after his shock defeat to the Russian last year,” Coral's Harry Aitkenhead told FreeTips.com
“We make him odds on to get it. He is the firm favourite for the Rumble on the Rock.”
Whyte is 8/11 to win via knockout or technical knockout and 3/1 to win on points.
In Coral's round by round betting, Whyte to win in the sixth or seventh is given the shortest odds at 11/1.
Povetkin to win in round five again is a 25/1 chance.
“It is 25-1 that lightning strikes twice as Povetkin wins in the fight round again,” Aitkenhead added.
“However, our round by round betting suggests the most likely early end is a Whyte KO in six or seven.”
