George Foreman History


George Edward Foreman competed between 1969 and 1997. Nicknamed “Big George”, he is a two-time world heavyweight champion and an Olympic gold medalist. 

Foreman won gold in the heavyweight division at the 1968 Summer Olympics, turned professional in 1969 and won the world heavyweight title with a second-round KO of then-undefeated Joe Frazier in 1973. 

His most famous fight is undoubtedly is his first professional loss to Muhammad Ali in "The Rumble in the Jungle" in 1974. Foreman retired after a loss to Jimmy Young in 1977.

David Haye History


David Deron Haye competed from 2002 to 2018. “The Hayemaker” won a silver medal in the in 2001 World Amateur Boxing Championships before holding multiple world championships in two weight classes.

Haye became a unified cruiserweight world champion in 2008 and won three of the four major world titles. He moved up to heavyweight in 2008, winning the WBA title in 2009 after defeating Nikolai Valuev.

Haye is one of only two boxers in history alongside Evander Holyfield to unify the cruiserweight world titles and become a world heavyweight champion.
