Shakur Stevenson boasts a perfect 18-0 record heading into this defence of the WBC, WBO and Ring magazine super-featherweight titles.

A former Olympic silver medallist, Stevenson turned professional in April 2017 and quickly rose up the ranks.

In his 13th professional fight he became a world champion for the first time, beating Joet Gonzalez to win the vacant WBO featherweight title.

Stevenson then made the move up to super-featherweight and in June 2021 he beat Jeremiak Nakathila by decision win the interm WBO title.

That secured a shot at the WBO belt and the 25-year-old American took his big chance by stopping Jamel Herring in the 10th round.

Stevenson then successfully defended that title and claimed the WBC and Ring magazine titles in April of this year.

He beat Oscar Valdez by unanimous decision to improve his record to 18-0 (9 KOs).

Robson Conceicao Form

Robson Conceicao is looking to become a world champion at the second attempt on Friday night.

Conceicao, a former Olympic gold medallist, debuted in the professional ranks in November 2016.

He quickly began racking up wins and in April 2021 a seventh-round stoppage of Jesus Antonio Ahumada earned him a world title fight.

The 33-year-old Brazilian challenged Oscar Valdez for the WBC super-featherweight title but came up short on the night, losing by decision after he faded during the second half of the contest.

Conceicao bounced back form that loss immediately though, earning a unanimous decision win over Xavier Martinez in January.

That victory took his professional record to 17-1 (8 KOs).
